DENVER ( KDVR ) — One lucky Powerball player won’t be so lucky in 10 days if they don’t claim their winning ticket worth half a million dollars.

Earlier this year, someone bought a Powerball Double Play ticket at the King Soopers at 8031 Wadsworth Blvd. in Arvada for the drawing on March 23. The ticket was worth $500,000, but almost six months later, no one has claimed it.

Colorado Lottery reports record sales year of over $900M

The winning numbers were 18-24-43-46-47, and the ticket matched all five, just missing the Powerball, according to the Colorado Lottery.

While there are still 10 days left to claim the ticket, this wouldn’t be the first time a ticket has gone unclaimed. Just this year, over a million dollars’ worth of winning lottery tickets have gone unclaimed .

This ticket would, however, be the highest-winning Powerball Double Play ticket to go unclaimed this year, with the second-highest unclaimed ticket worth $150,000 bought at the Denver International Airport.

If the winning ticket holder doesn’t come forward in 180 days, which would be Sept. 19 for this ticket, the proceeds will go into the beneficiary fund , which is given to Great Outdoors Colorado, the Conservation Trust fund and Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
