Denver weather: Staying warm, better chance for showers

DENVER (KDVR) — Denver had another afternoon in the 90s, which brings 2024 into a tie for sixth place for the most days to reach 90 degrees or hotter in one year. More heat is in Denver’s weather alongside a few chances for showers.

Weather tonight: Clouds clearing

Monday night, clouds will clear. Temperatures will stay on the warm side and only fall to the upper 50s.

Weather tomorrow: Staying warm

Tuesday will start with sunshine. As high temperatures climb to around 90 degrees, clouds will increase ahead of the slight chance for a few showers.

Looking ahead: Showers Wednesday then drying out

Wednesday will start with increasing clouds ahead of a few showers and thunderstorms, especially in higher elevations. Temperatures will be a little cooler, only reaching the mid-80s.

Warm and sunny weather returns Thursday. High temperatures will climb to the lower 90s alongside a warm and dry breeze out of the southwest.

On Friday and into the weekend, temperatures will drop to the mid-80s, which is still about 5 degrees above normal, alongside plenty of sunshine. Warm and dry weather will stick around into the start of the next workweek.
