Denver weather: Afternoon clouds, spotty shower

DENVER ( KDVR ) — After some morning sunshine, clouds will increase for the second half of the day with a spotty shower in the Denver weather forecast.

Weather today: More clouds

Clear skies on Tuesday morning will lead to afternoon clouds as highs top out near the 90-degree mark.

Spotty shower chances are possible, but most will be in the higher elevations.

Weather tonight: Clearing skies

Clouds from the afternoon will clear Tuesday night. Overnight lows will be very mild in the upper 50s with a light wind.

Looking ahead: Drying out, mild temperatures

Wednesday has the best chance for afternoon showers or storms along the Front Range with highs in the upper 80s.

Denver will hit another 90-degree day on Thursday, with more sunshine in the forecast and some breezy afternoon winds.

Friday rounds out the workweek with more sunshine and mild highs in the middle 80s.

Saturday begins the weekend with mainly sunny skies and just above-average highs in the middle 80s.

Sunday has more of a mix of sun and clouds with mild highs in the middle 80s.

Next week starts with mostly sunny skies and warm highs in the upper 80s.
