    Some Colorado farmers markets closing soon, others to remain open until November

    DENVER ( KDVR ) — Meteorological summer ended on Sept. 1, and with it went some seasonal activities. While the weather may still be warm, a few farmers markets across the Front Range are closing for the year.

    But don’t worry, some markets plan to stay open through November.

    Farmers market closing dates

    A handful of farmers markets closed at the end of August, but many across the Front Range will remain open until October and some even toward the end of November.

    Here are the closing dates for farmers markets in the area:

    While there are still a few months left to pick up fresh produce, one farmers market in Denver, the Green Valley Ranch Farmers Market, has already closed. However, markets in Cherry Creek, City Park, Central Park and University Hills will remain open through October, with the market on South Pearl Street staying open until November.
