Clouds will linger Tuesday night alongside a southwest breeze. Temperatures will stay on the warmer side compared to normal, and fall to the upper 50s.

Thursday will be hot, sunny and breezy. A south-southwest breeze will gust around 30-35 mph, helping to boost temperatures back up to the 90s.

This combination of high wind and low humidity, falling below 15%, will raise fire danger, and is triggering a fire weather watch for Thursday afternoon and evening. While there is not anything weather-related in the forecast to spark a fire, make sure to avoid things like outdoor burning that could lead to a wildfire.

Milder conditions are in the forecast for Friday into the weekend. High temperatures Friday, Saturday and Sunday will reach the mid-80s, which is just a few degrees above normal, alongside sunshine and a lighter breeze.

This should make for great conditions for the Rocky Mountain Showdown and the first Broncos home game of the year. The next workweek will start with more sunshine, and high temperatures climbing to the upper 80s.
