    DENVER ( KDVR ) — Sunny skies are back in Denver on Thursday, but it’s a Pinpoint Weather Alert Day due to brisk winds and low humidity, causing an elevated fire danger risk in the Denver weather forecast.

    Weather today: Breezy winds

    Colorado will see mainly sunny skies on Thursday with warm highs in the lower 90s.

    Winds will be breezy out of the southwest at 15-25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

    Fire weather warnings will be in effect from noon until 8 p.m. due to low humidity values and brisk winds.

    Skies will stay clear Thursday night as winds slow quickly. Overnight low temperatures will dip into the middle 50s.
