More cool temperatures across Colorado Friday night.

Temperatures fall into the lower 50s across the Front Range by Saturday morning. A few towns may fall into the upper 40s. Expect cold temperatures in several mountain towns with morning lows in the 30s. Winds will be light.

Unseasonably warm temperatures continue Saturday afternoon.

Temperatures will again be above normal on Saturday. There will be plenty of sunshine across the state and highs will rise into the middle and upper 80s across the Front Range.

Southeast Colorado will make a run at 90 degrees again, while the mountain communities will mostly be in the 70s.

Looking ahead: Changes late next week

Winds will begin to pick up again Sunday with an isolated chance for a shower in the afternoon. Thankfully the Broncos home opener looks to stay dry with mostly sunny conditions. Temperatures stay in the middle and upper 80s through Tuesday.

Warm weather through early next week before a cool down arrives.

Big changes arrive starting Wednesday. Temperatures fall to the lower 80s, closer to normal for mid-September. A big cool down looks likely starting next Friday with signs of temperatures only in the 70s for daytime highs.
