Denver weather: Seasonal Tuesday ahead of warmer weather

DENVER (KDVR) — After a wet and cooler weekend, sunshine and above-normal temperatures return to Denver’s weather forecast for the rest of the week.

Weather tonight: Mainly cloudy

Monday night, a cold front will move through the area. The front will move through dry but will increase clouds and shift the wind out of the north.

Temperatures will fall to the upper 40s, which is in line with normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Clearing, seasonal

Clouds will clear on Tuesday, giving way to plenty of sunshine alongside a light northerly breeze. Temperatures will stay seasonal, and only reach the mid-70s.

Looking ahead: Sunny, warmer

Sunshine and warmer-than-normal temperatures return to the forecast Wednesday through the weekend. Wednesday, temperatures will climb to the mid-80s, which is about 10 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year.

Thursday will be the warmest day of the week, with high climbing to the upper 80s, which is just shy of the daily record, which is 90 degrees set in 2010.

Temperatures will stay nearly 10 degrees above normal, reaching the mid-80s Friday through the weekend.

By early next week, there will be another cold front and this one will drop temperatures into the 70s, which is seasonal for this time of year.
