Denver weather: Seasonal day ahead, big warmup coming

DENVER ( KDVR ) — A little cloud cover is on the way, but the rest of Tuesday morning will be dry and cool. This is all ahead of a mild and comfy day in the Denver weather forecast.

Weather today: Some clouds to start, then mostly sunny

Clouds will clear on Tuesday, giving way to plenty of sunshine alongside a light northeasterly breeze. Temperatures will stay seasonal and only reach the mid-70s.

Weather tonight: Clear skies

Skies remain clear overnight as lows drop into the middle to lower 50s. Look for winds to remain light and variable.

Looking ahead: Sunny, warmer

Sunshine and warmer-than-normal temperatures return to the forecast on Wednesday, and they will last through the weekend.

On Wednesday, temperatures will climb to the mid-80s, which is about 10 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year.

Thursday will be the warmest day of the week with high climbing to the upper 80s, which is just shy of the daily record of 90 degrees set in 2010.

Temperatures will stay nearly 10 degrees above normal, reaching the mid-80s on Friday and through the weekend.

By early next week, there will be another cold front, and this one will drop temperatures into the 70s, which is seasonal for this time of year.
