DENVER ( KDVR ) — Another Colorado location is bringing reusable cups to their venue.

The reusable r.World cups have started making their way around local venues with the mission to reduce single-use plastic.

Red Rocks now uses reusable cups: What you need to know

Already, places like Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the Temple Buell Theatre, Boettcher Concert Hall, Mission Ballroom and Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre have partnered with the brand, and the cups have been put to use at many venues.

Now, the Colorado Rockies just announced their partnership with the cups.

While the cups are already in use at some venues, Coors Field just finished testing out the cups. The Rockies said they tried out a pilot program at the club level concession stands throughout August, where they found that it eliminated over 20,000 single-use cups in the month alone.

Even though the Rockies’ season is almost over, the team said Coors Field will be using the cups on the club level throughout the last weekend, where the Rockies will play the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The cups are basically the same as any other beverage served at Coors Field, except when you’re done with your drink, you put them in the return bins instead of the trash. Then, the Rockies said the cups would be sanitized and put back into use.
