DENVER (KDVR) — Temperatures will remain unseasonably warm this weekend as Denver’s weather may again come close to record highs on Sunday. Pinpoint Weather, Colorado’s Most Accurate Forecast, is also tracking more opportunities for potentially record breaking heat in the week ahead.

The weekend sees continued hot weather.

    Weather tonight: Another mild night

More mild temperatures Friday night and Saturday morning.

Temperatures overnight Friday and waking up Saturday morning will again be unseasonably mild. Denver will only cool into the middle 50s Saturday morning, which will be about 10 degrees warmer than normal. Expect mostly clear skies and dry conditions across the state.

Weather tomorrow: More sunshine as heat persists

Temperatures come close to 90 degrees again Saturday.

Temperatures Saturday will again be very warm with highs in the upper 80s around the metro Denver area, and the upper 70s and low 80s in the mountains. Skies will feature almost no cloud cover. Winds will come from the south and southeast around 5-15 miles per hour.

Looking ahead: A few chances to set more records

Sunday will be another day to watch closely as we’ll again be coming close to record high temperatures. Our current forecast for Sunday is 90 degrees, but the record high is 92 set in 1892.

Summer-like weather continues over the next week.

A “cold” front will arrive some time Monday and should see winds increase, but temperatures dip into the middle 80s. Tuesday will be a seasonal day for a change as we only warm into the middle 70s. We’ll be on record watch again Wednesday as Denver warms to around 88 degrees – the record for that date is 88 degrees in 2005. If we were to hit 90, however, it would be the latest 90 degree day in Denver’s recorded weather history.
