DENVER ( KDVR ) — After a seasonally cooler day, warmer temperatures return to Denver’s weather alongside plenty of sunshine for the end of the workweek and into the weekend.

    Weather tonight: Seasonally cool

Thursday night will be clear and seasonally cool.

Low temperatures will fall to the mid-40s, which is right in line with normal for this time of year.

Low temperatures in eastern Colorado will drop to the mid-30s, which is chilly enough for some patchy morning frost. Because of this, frost advisories are in set to go into effect tonight and continue until 8 a.m. Friday.

    Weather tomorrow: Sunny, warm

Friday will be sunny and warm. High temperatures will climb to the mid-80s, which is just shy of the daily record of 87 degrees set in 1997.

Looking ahead: Record heat to start the weekend

Saturday will be sunny, breezy and warm. Temperatures are on track to tie the daily record high of 86 degrees set in 1997.

Breezy conditions and low humidity will raise fire concerns. Because of this, a fire weather watch is set to go into effect on Saturday.

While there is not anything weather-related that could spark a fire, it is important to avoid burning or any activities that could spark a fire, because dry and breezy conditions could rapidly spread any fires that do start.

Then, a weak cold front will move through, shifting the breeze and lowering temperatures on Sunday. Conditions look great for the Broncos game with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures climbing to 80 degrees by kickoff.

Dry and seasonally warm conditions continue into the workweek with high temperatures reaching the low to mid 80s, which is about 10 degrees warmer than normal.
