Casa Bonita announces when December reservations will be available

DENVER (KDVR) – If you missed out on snagging a spot to dine at Casa Bonita during the initial reservation frenzy in September , you’re in luck: The beloved pink restaurant will make December reservations available on Monday, Oct. 7.

Just like in September, “Founders Club” members – people who signed up for the email list before the restaurant’s 2023 reopening – will be given access to priority reservations the restaurant holds exclusively for club members.

Members will be able to join a pre-queue between 8 and 9 a.m. on Oct. 7. The queue will then open at 9 a.m., with people in the pre-queue given a random spot in line and anyone who joins after that being put in the back of the line.

It is unknown when December reservations will open to the general public. However, in September, the restaurant used a similar system to offer up a limited number of priority reservations to club members in the morning before reservations opened up to the general public in the afternoon.

Thousands of people flocked to the virtual queue in September in the hopes of securing a reservation. It was the first time that the general public was able to reserve a table since the restaurant reopened in 2023.

Before that, all tables were given out via an email lottery system.

At one point during the initial rollout, FOX31 observed around 50,000 people waiting for a chance to eat at the 50-year-old Colorado staple.

It only took a few hours for all the reservations to be taken.

A documentary about Casa Bonita debuted on streaming service Paramount+ on Oct. 2.
