DENVER ( KDVR ) — A viral baseball team known for their comical performances during games is playing at Coors Field next summer.

The Savannah Bananas gained popularity on social media with videos of choreographed dances involving the team and umpire before the pitch. Other plays include a batter on stilts and players performing TikTok dances in the crowd.

While these aren’t normal antics in the MLB, this is considered normal for this game. The Savannah Bananas are part of a bigger league known as Banana Ball .

Banana Ball is a baseball league with a few different rules, one of the most popular being that if a fan catches a foul ball, it counts as an out. The league focuses on entertainment with more continuous playing and fewer lulls. The games are known to involve singing, trick plays and dancing.

The Baseball Hall of Fame is turning into Banana Land

The league plays all over the country, and during the 2025 Banana Ball World Tour, two teams will be heading to Coors Field.

The Savannah Bananas are playing the Firefighters in a two-day face-off on Aug. 9 -10, 2025. While tickets are in high demand, there’s a way you can get them but it will be a lot like joining Casa Bonita’s reservation waitlist .

Tickets to the Savannah Bananas at Coors Field

To potentially get a ticket to the game, you need to join the ticket lottery list before it closes on Nov. 1. However, getting on the list doesn’t guarantee a seat at the game.

About two months before the game, a random drawing will give some people the chance to purchase tickets. If you get the opportunity to buy a ticket, they won’t cost too much compared to some Denver sports tickets, although they might be more than the Colorado Rockies’ rockpile seats.

The Savannah Bananas are heading to the gridiron in 2025, including Clemson’s Death Valley

The standard tickets start at $35 with no hidden fees or taxes. Meanwhile, MLB games range from $40-$80. Prices go up to about $100 or more for VIP tickets.

If you’re looking for other ways to grab a ticket for the game, the league warns that tickets purchased outside of their platform are usually fraudulent. While some third-party sites sell tickets, one way to tell if they’re fraudulent is if they are way more than $35.

While the Bananas will only be playing in Denver for two days, there are games all over the country next year if you’re looking to see Banana Ball in action.
