Pedestrian, 75, killed in Boulder County hit-and-run, suspect truck sought

DENVER (KDVR) – Colorado State Patrol is searching for a pickup truck involved in a deadly hit-and-run that happened Sunday night in Boulder County. A 75-year-old pedestrian was killed in the crash.

According to CSP, around 10:57 p.m., troopers responded to the hit-and-run on US Highway 36 near Longhorn Road.

A white pickup truck hit and killed a 75-year-old man before fleeing the scene. The initial investigation indicated the man was walking down the middle of the highway.

The pickup truck was northbound at the time of the crash.

The driver has not been identified.

CSP said it is believed the vehicle was a white GMC Sierra or Chevrolet Silverado. The model years were estimated to be between 2007 and 2012. It was also believed to have a chrome front bumper, black grill and possibly black wheels.

According to CSP, the vehicle would have damage to the front driver-side bumper as well as the grill and fog light housing.
