    Missing 12-year-old in Lakewood found safe

    DENVER ( KDVR ) — The Lakewood Police Department said a 12-year-old who went missing early Monday morning has been located and is safe.

    The police department said the 12-year-old was last seen leaving the 6100 block of West 13th Avenue on Oct. 7. She was seen on surveillance footage getting into a pickup truck with an unknown male.

    At 1:35 a.m. on Wednesday, Lakewood police confirmed the girl was located. The department thanked everyone who shared her information, resulting in her safe return.

    12 years old wth? getting in a vehicle with an unknown man did the parents teach her nothing my goodness at 12 I'd have never gotten into a vehicle with someone I didn't muchless a male, my boys would never have done that come on parents you need teach your children from day 1 stranger danger she is still a child.
