Overturned semi blocks eastbound I-76 in Commerce City

DENVER (KDVR) — An overturned semi-truck was blocking all eastbound lanes of Interstate 76 in Commerce City on Saturday morning.

The Commerce City Police Department said a semi and a vehicle crashed on I-76, causing the semi to overturn onto its side.

All eastbound lanes were closed, and just before 3 p.m., the police department said the road had been cleared.

“We have multiple agencies assisting as the semi will need to be offloaded and uprighted before we can reopen the roadway,” CCPD wrote in a post on X.

No one was injured in the crash.
