East Colfax reopens after the Denver Police Department place multiple persons of interest in custody

DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver Police Department posted an update on X that roads have reopened on E. Colfax after multiple persons of interest were placed in custody.

The DPD reported in a post on X that officers were working to contact a suspect in the 8800 block of E. Colfax.

Colfax was closed in both directions between Yosemite Street and Xanthia Street.

The Aurora Police Department confirmed they were assisting with the incident.

This is an ongoing situation. Updates will be provided here as they become available.
