WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) – Vice President Kamala Harris and former president Donald Trump have busy schedules as they head down the closing stretch to Election Day.

Vice President Kamala Harris is spending a lot of time in the “Blue Wall states”, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.

Harris has four events planned in Wisconsin Thursday.  Former president Donald Trump is in New York, as both candidates try to convince the few voters who still haven’t decided.

Vice President Harris, in between campaign stops, praised Israel’s killing of the Hamas leader behind the October 7th attacks.

“He had American blood on his hands,” said Harris.

Minutes earlier a pro-Palestinian protester interrupted Harris’ speech at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

“I respect your right to speak but I am speaking right now,” said Harris.

To mark the first day of early voting in North Carolina former president Bill Clinton joined the Democratic nominee for vice president, Governor Tim Walz (D-Minn.) at an event in Durham.

While the Republican nominee for VP Senator JD Vance (R-Ohio.) campaigned in another key state, Pennsylvania.

“We’ve got, hard to believe, 19 days to go,” said Vance.

In their closing message the Trump campaign is focusing on immigration.

“The message of Trump to people who are in this country illegally is simple. Pack your bags because in four months you’re going home,” said Vance.

While the Harris campaign says Trump should not be back in the White House.

“It is clear, Donald Trump is increasingly unstable and unhinged,” said Harris.

Both candidates will appear at a dinner in New York Thursday night to raise money for Catholic charities.

Trump will speak at the dinner in person while Harris will address the dinner by video.
