KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The clock is ticking to bid on the Parade of Hearts sculptures you’ve seen around the Kansas City area.

Bidding officially ends Friday, Aug. 23, at noon and is online only .

There are plenty of hearts still up for grabs starting at $2,000.

Embracing Kansas City’s identity as the “heart of America,” there are 80 one-of-a-kind hearts in total, all created and designed by local artists .

Proceeds from the auction support local nonprofits and artists.

Last week, Parade of Hearts announced it’s retiring the iconic “KC Heart” sculpture this year. So this is your last chance to bid for a piece of history.

“The auction is online only. That gives people outside of the Kansas City region an opportunity to bid. In years past, we’ve had people as far away as Canada and Australia bidding on hearts and we do know that some hearts have been moved to their permanent home as far away as Arizona and California,” said Parade of Hearts Executive Director Jenn Nussbeck.

Parade of Hearts will go on hiatus next year and a new sculpture will take the heart’s place in 2026.
