The Clay County Sheriff posted a video of the incident on their Facebook page. The incident happened on Aug. 3.

Several off-duty deputies ran to aid a mother holding her 1-year-old son, Taji. They initially thought he was choking and struck his back several times to try to dislodge whatever was stuck.

When the park’s medic got to the scene, they realized he was actually having a seizure. The deputies continued to assist the medic and Taji was breathing on his own by the time the fire department arrived.

Taji regained consciousness and had a good pulse, but was still taken to the hospital just to be safe. The seizure was brought on by an ear infection that happened to get worse while they were visiting Worlds of Fun.

Since then, taji has made a full recovery and is back to normal, and his mom said she’s beyond grateful.

I'm surprised that mom never noticed her little guy being hotter than normal and when they have ear problems they whale.

So, the leos thought the kid was choking and was hitting his back. The Park Medic however, actually saved the day. And of course mom isn't going to just take baby home after having a seizure. This article is truly terrible writing.
