    Chiefs vs. Ravens: What to know if you’re going to Arrowhead

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. — All eyes will be on Kansas City tomorrow as the NFL begins its regular season with the Chiefs against the Baltimore Ravens in an AFC Championship rematch.

    Fans will get to see the Chiefs reveal their second straight Super Bowl banner and third in five seasons.

    The Chiefs begin the 2024 season on a quest to become the first team in NFL history to three-peat. They also enter the season expected to be much improved on offense after revamping their receiving core.

    This game should provide us with a lot of fireworks as Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson—the last two NFL MVPs—face off once again.

    Here’s what you should know if you plan on heading to the stadium on Thursday.

    Tickets

    You can purchase tickets online, on the Chiefs website, or you can use a third-party site like Tickets for Less, Gametime or Seat Geek.

    Ticket prices range from $145 to $1,350.

    Gameday Forecast

    Temperatures are anticipated to reach a high of 91 degrees with a low of 64 degrees. There’s a 46 percent chance of rain during the day with partly cloudy skies and slight chance of showers during evening.

    Parking and Traffic

    Parking gates open at 2:30 p.m.  All fans are encouraged to purchase parking passes in advance to make the process more convenient for fans. You can purchase passes here.

    A parking pass costs $50 and tickets and parking passes are mobile only and fans are encouraged to save them to their mobile wallet for easy access. Fans can access their tickets here or on the Chiefs mobile app.

    Guests using rideshare services may drop-off and pick-up at the Missouri Welcome Center located between Gates 1 and 2 on Blue Ridge Cutoff.

    Stadium Gates and Entry

    The stadium gates will open at 5 p.m. Gates for guests with tickets on the CommunityAmerica Club Level will open at 4:30 p.m.

    The Chiefs will once again be implementing the NFL’s clear bag policy. The policy allows you to bring the following:

    • One-gallon clear zip-seal bag (Ziploc® bag or similar).
    • Small clutch bags that do not exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″, with or without a handle or strap, may be carried into the stadium along with one of the clear bag options.
    • An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection.
    • 12 x 6 x 12 clear plastic bag

    World’s Largest Tailgate

    To open the season, the Chiefs will be hosting the World’s Largest Tailgate: The Tailgate Games.

    This is a show that will be hosted by by actor and comedian Rob Riggle and broadcaster Hayley Lewis.

    The show will take place across two sets in the parking lot outside GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium before kickoff.

    The event will start at 5 p.m. and include and will feature live tailgate-themed competitions, an ongoing 60-minute challenge that will offer engagement opportunities for at-home viewers, as well as pre-recorded segments with current Chiefs players.

    Cashless

    All concession stands and retail points of sale are completely cashless. Along with scan and chip reader options for credit/debit cards, all fixed points of sale offer mobile tap or scan payment options, including Chiefs Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay.

    In-stadium hawkers and vendors are credit card only.

    • 6:20 p.m. – Team Warm-Ups Begin
    • 6:55 p.m. – “Lift Every Voice” performance (performed by Tasha Cobbs Leonard)
    • 7:09 p.m. – Championship banner ceremony
    • 7:12 p.m. – Chiefs team introduction
    • 7:14 p.m. – Ravens team introduction
    • 7:16 p.m. – Coin Toss
    • 7:18 p.m. – National Anthem (performed by Coco Jones)
    • 7:22 p.m. – Kickoff
