KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Tuesday night, popular rock n’ roll singer and global icon Jon Bon Jovi talked a woman off the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge bridge in Nashville, Tennessee.

Bon Jovi was reportedly on the bridge for a photo shoot around 6 p.m., when he and his team noticed the woman standing on the ledge of the bridge, on the opposite side of the guard rail.

A video posted by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department shows Bon Jovi and his team approaching the woman calmly as pedestrians traverse the bridge in both directions.

As the video continues, the singer and one woman, who appears to be a part of his team, talk with the woman, appearing to comfort her.

About a minute after Bon Jovi approached the woman, the video shows her turning around, allowing Bon Jovi and the member of his team to pull her over the rail to safety.

In a separate post to X , the police department thanked Bon Jovi for helping the woman.

“A shout out to @jonbonjovi & his team for helping a woman on the Seigenthaler Ped Bridge Tue night. Bon Jovi helped persuade her to come off the ledge over the Cumberland River to safety. ‘It takes all of us to keep each other safe,” — Chief John Drake”, the post reads.

No other details were provided by Bon Jovi, his team or the police department.
