    Miami County Sheriff’s Office searching for cemetery damage suspect

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Miami County Kansas Sherriff’s Office is asking for public assistance in identifying the person or vehicle responsible for damage caused at the Fontana Cemetery.

    The sheriff’s office claims that sometime between Monday, September 9 and Wednesday, September 11, a vehicle left the roadway at 383rd Street and Osage Street, damaging the fence of the cemetery.

    River Market businesses are the latest target for break ins

    The estimated damage is valued at over $5,000.
