KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Homicide detectives are looking for a suspect after Kansas City police say two men were arguing before one was shot and killed on Thursday night.

KCPD says officers went to an apartment at 63rd Avenue and Manchester, just south of where I-435 and 350 Highway split, where the man shot was found without a pulse.

Missouri officer, charged in K-9’s death, fired from police department

Emergency workers declared him dead at the scene. KCPD identified him 36-year-old Michael D. Porter.

Investigators say the suspect, who hasn’t been identified in any fashion, left the scene and hasn’t been found.

If you heard or saw anything, or know anything that will lead police to the suspect, call the TIPS Hotline at (816) 474-TIPS.

I’m so desensitized to shootings. They happens so often it’s not even news anymore. It’s disgusting that people are pulling out guns because they’re too chicken shit to throw hands.
