I-29 reopens after woman injured in rollover crash Monday morning

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Interstate 29 was shut down for part of Monday morning after a woman was injured in a rollover crash in Platte City, Missouri.

According to the Platte County Sheriff’s Office, at about 6:50 a.m., deputies responded to a crash on northbound I-29 near the 21-mile marker.

The single-car crash resulted in the temporary shutdown of I-29, diverting traffic to Missouri 371 Highway.

The woman injured in the crash was taken to a hospital for treatment, and I-29 eventually reopened at 7:40 a.m.

The Platte County Sheriff’s Office said it “appreciates the patience and understanding of everyone whose travel was delayed this morning.”
