    Margaret Atwood event in Kansas City changes location due to high demand

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas Citians will get a second opportunity to see Margaret Atwood in person.

    The author of “The Handmaid’s Tale” will be in the metro for the 150th anniversary of the Kansas City Public Library.

    Because of high demand, the library has moved the event to a new venue.

    Atwood will now speak at Unity Temple on the Plaza on September 24.

    Those who hold reservations for the event do not need to re-register.

    The tickets will be available Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 3 p.m.
