    Iconic Crossroads pizza place celebrating 20 years in Kansas City

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Grinders KC, a Kansas City staple when it comes to pizza and live music, is celebrating its 20th anniversary tomorrow, September 21.

    The event will run from noon to 11 p.m. and will feature music from acts Quiet Riot, Stretch (the owner of Grinders), Dolewite, Mad Libby and Frogpond. Comedian Dave Williamson will emcee the event.

    Starlight Theatre announces 2025 Broadway series

    Additionally, there will be a pre-concert BBQ from noon to 3 p.m., followed by ticketed gates opening at 4:30 p.m.

    Owned by Jeff Rumaner, or “Stretch,” Grinders has been serving eats and drinks to the Kansas City Crossroads community since 2004. The sculpture park turned live music venue behind the pizza shop was opened in 2008.

    Tickets are listed as $22 on the day of the show.
