KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Patrick Mahomes has something else to add to his record book after the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night.

Mahomes now has won the most games of any quarterback through their 1st 100 starts with 77 wins in 99 starts, surpassing Tom Brady and Roger Staubach.

And more importantly, the Chiefs were able to hang on down the stretch and move to 3-0 after 22-17 win thanks to a big defensive stand after the Falcons went for it on 4th & 1 with 56 seconds left.

Mahomes finished 26/39 with 217 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Rice accounted for more than half of Mahomes’ passing yards, with a career-high 12 receptions for 110 yards and one score.

The two-time MVP has gotten off to somewhat of a slow start to begin the season with five touchdowns and four interceptions.
