Travis Kelce acting debut: When, where to watch ‘Grotesquerie’

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Travis Kelce’s debut for his first big acting job on Ryan Murphy’s upcoming FX horror series premieres on Wednesday night.

Kelce’s only prior acting experience was a surprise cameo on an episode of “Moonbase 8” in 2020. He has also landed a few TV jobs, like hosting “Saturday Night Live” last year and standing as the leading love interest in his very own reality dating show, “Catching Kelce.”

Murphy has a history of interesting casting choices for his TV shows. In 2015, he cast Lady Gaga in “American Horror Story: Hotel,” which led to a Golden Globe win for her performance.

Kim Kardashian was also cast as a leading part in “American Horror Story: Delicate.” Since her debut, she has been working toward other acting roles.

• The two-episode premiere of the series is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 9 p.m. Central Time on FX.

Apart from Kelce, who has an undisclosed role, “Grotesquerie” also stars Niecy Nash-Betts as Detective Lois Tryon, Courtney B. Vance as Marshall Tryon, and Micaela Diamond as Sister Megan.
