One woman dead after motorcycle crash in Johnson County

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One woman is dead after a motorcycle crash in Johnson County on Wednesday night.

According to responders, the crash happened around 9:40 p.m. on Strang Line Road in Lenexa.

The motorcycle operator, a 23-year-old woman, was taken to a hospital by Johnson County Med-Act in critical condition but succumbed to her injuries and died at the hospital.

According to responders, an investigation showed that she was traveling south on Strangline Road and entered the center median.
