    KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The fall vibes are here and the area has a lot of fall-themed festivals going on this weekend!

    If you’re looking for something to do this weekend — Sept. 27-29 — here are 10 events going on this weekend!

    Lee’s Summit Oktoberfest

    Friday kicks off the first night of Lee’s Summit’s Oktoberfest. You can find sizzling bratwursts and local craft beer. But it’s not just for the adults. There’s even a petting zoo for the kids.

    • Friday: 3 – 10 p.m.
    • Saturday: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
    • ​Sunday: 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. *Carnival Only*

    Overland Park Fall Festival

    Head to the Fall Festival for a fun-filled extravaganza packed with live entertainment, friendly vendors and delicious festival food.

    A free shuttle service is available from Young’s Pool to Downtown Overland Park. The shuttle runs every 15-20 minutes between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Saturday only.

    • Friday, Sept. 27: 4 to 8 p.m.
    • Saturday, Sept. 28: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Liberty Fall Festival

    The festival has over 200 artists & vendors and two stages packed with entertainment from regional and local artists! Kids of all ages can play in the carnival. There will be shops with art, unique gifts, handmade quilts, jewelry, pottery, and treats for your furry friends.

    Attendees can also enjoy various food, from funnel cakes to turkey legs. You can also pick up fresh produce at the farmer’s market.

    • Fri., Sept. 27: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
    • Saturday, Sept. 28: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

    Louisburg Ciderfest

    Louisburg Cider Mill brings you some good old-fashioned apple cider fun for two exciting weekends every autumn. Louisburg Ciderfest is always held on the last weekend in September and the first weekend in October. There are no admission or parking fees to attend.

    • Weekend 1: Sept. 28–29

    Art on Walnut

    If you are looking to do some early Christmas gift shopping — check out Art on Walnut. It happens every Sunday from April through October.

    You can find various vendors, from 32 local artists and makers showcasing their art.

    • Sunday: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    Night at the Tower

    Night at the Tower is happening again this year at the National World War I Museum and Memorial on Saturday. Abby Eden will be joining the event as the emcee.

    Guests can explore the museum, enjoy breathtaking views from the top of the tower, and bid on some amazing live auction items.

    • Saturday: The event starts at 5:30 p.m.

    Halloween pop-up bar at KC Wine Co.

    If you are looking to get into the Halloween spirit a bit early, the Ghouls pop-up barn at KC Wine Co. is the place for you! There will be photo ops with ghouls and goblins, specialty cocktails, vineyard snacks and more.

    The event is 21 and older. It’s free to attend with no cover charge.

    • Friday: 4-9 p.m.
    • Saturday: 12-9 p.m.
    • Sunday: 12 to 6 p.m.

    Briarfest

    Briar Fest “Fall by the River” is returning this weekend. It’s a two day music festival benefiting the Midwest Music Foundation and BBPA. Briarfest has raised over $250,000 for charity and is looking to surpass that goal this weekend.

    The event is happening at the E.H. Young Riverfront Park in Riverside, Missouri. Single day tickets go for $25 and a weekend pass is $40.

    • Friday: 3 to 10 p.m.
    • Saturday: noon – 10 p.m.

    Fab Four at the Ameristar Casino

    If you are a lover of the Beatles, then check out this Beatles cover band, “The Fab Four.” They will be playing at the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City on Saturday night starting at 8:30 p.m.
    Tickets range between $30 and $50.

    KU Football at Arrowhead Stadium

    The Kansas Jayhawks will take on the TCU Horned Frogs this weekend. The game time is set at Arrowhead this Saturday.

    The two face off at 2:30 in the afternoon. This is the 40th time in series history the two teams have met. Single game tickets are for sale online at Ticketmaster, starting at $25.

    • Saturday: 2:30 p.m.

    Kansas City Renaissance Festival

    The Kansas City Renaissance Festival is like walking through the gates of time to another age where guests from around the metro, the Midwest, the country and sometimes the world get a taste of 16th-century life.

    • Sept 28-29 and Oct. 5-6: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
