Chef is the ‘Special of the Day’

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — John Kalliris’ family has operated Tasso’s Greek Restaurant in the Waldo neighborhood of Kansas City for decades. Throughout those years though, Giovanni has been the chef.

“He is a super hard worker, who is passionate about his job, and he inspires everyone at the restaurant,” Kalliris said. “He deserves the recognition of the $400 gift card.”

Because of his years of service in the restaurant, Kalliris nominated Giovanni to receive the gift from FOX4’s Pay it Forward. He hopes that it will help Giovanni to fix his car.
