KANSAS CITY, Mo. — From head to toe, red and blue never looked better together.

An hour before the Kansas City Chiefs kickoff, Royals kicked off Monday night’s excitement.

In a playoff appearance that’s taking fans back to almost 10 years ago.

“I remember being there, I got my face painted, good moments,” said Royals and Chiefs fan Dario Cruz.

No flipping through the channels here. Power and Light showed both games to make sure no one missed out on this Red Monday and Blue October.

So the hardest question wasn’t exactly which game to watch, more so what to wear.

“We go to represent both tonight so we did our best to represent both and as soon as the first game is over we are going Chiefs mode,” Cruz said.

“Me personally I always wear my Royals during Royals game day and Chiefs during Chiefs game day but we are in the playoffs so I got to show off for the team that’s in the playoffs baby,” said Chiefs and Royals fan Wham Ford.

“I got my Witt jersey and my Mahomes jersey. I am ready to go,” said Royals and Chiefs fan Todd Hottman.
