Kansas City Royals to host third annual Fall Bash at Urban Youth Academy

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Royals in collaboration with the Kansas City Urban Youth Academy and Heartland Black Chamber of Commerce announce the return of the Fall Bash Event.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 12 from noon to 3 p.m., the family-friendly bash will be a day filled with fun for free!

Fall Bash will be at the Urban Youth Academy at 1622 E 17th Terrace, Kansas City, Mo. Highlights include a pumpkin patch, bouncy obstacle course, resource vendors, food trucks, music and more.

In addition, the bash plans to support the community by providing free groceries to those in need, as well as some exciting giveaways sponsored by the Royals.

As we approach flu season, The University of Kansas Health Systems is offering free flu shots and Swope Health will be in attendance for free dental checkups for children.

Patrons can also watch local businesses compete in a friendly spirited softball competition, so mark your calendars and enjoy a fun day of free fall festivities in the heart of Kansas City!
