Sacramento County Fair returns to Cal Expo. Here’s what to know about the event

(FOX40.COM) — Carnival rides, live music, racing pigs, and a rodeo are among many things that could be found at the Sacramento County Fair.

The annual county fair officially returned to Cal Expo on Thursday and will continue through Monday.

For those who plan to attend, here is a guide to the 2024 edition of the fair.

How much are tickets?

General admission is $12 for adults, $10 for kids 12 to 17 years old and free for kids under 12.

Carnival wristbands are $35 while all-day parking is $10 and wheelchair and wagon rentals are $20 per day.

Admission for the arena events will require a separate ticket.

When entering the fair, Cal Expo has a clear bag policy, requiring no bags to be larger than 12 x 12 x12.
