Tip leads to weapons bust and arrests in Sutter County

(FOX40.COM) — Two people on probation were arrested in Yuba and Sutter counties after law enforcement was tipped off illegal possession of firearms.

On Aug. 1, the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office and the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office responded to Feather River bottoms, where the two people were residing. A “special detail” and probation search led to the discovery of several weapons, according to law enforcement .

Officer photos of the seizure show several guns, knives, drugs, and other weaponry and paraphernalia allegedly found at the scene. Officials said the operation led to “two arrests and several weapons being taken off the street.”
