( KRON ) — A vegetation fire Wednesday morning in Green Valley of Solano County briefly prompted evacuation orders in the area, according to Cal Fire Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit. As of about 1:30 p.m., the wind and topography driven fire was contained, according to Cal Fire.

The fire, dubbed the Amaral Fire, started at 9:46 a.m. near Amaral Court and Rockville Road. It has spread to approximately 12 acres as of 11 a.m.

The rate of spread was considered moderate before forward progress was stopped, Cal Fire said. The fire is 75% contained as of 12:30 p.m.

Evacuation orders were previously in effect for zones SOL-3052, SOL-3054, and SOL-3056 before they were downgraded to warnings. “There is an immediate threat to life,” Cal Fire said when the orders were activated. “It is a lawful order to leave now and the area is lawfully closed to public access.”

Area roads remain closed to the public, according to officials.

There were no reports of injuries or damage to structures. Crews will remain on scene to continue mop up over Wednesday afternoon.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The Fairfield Fire Department and Solano County Sheriff’s Department remained in unified command with Cal Fire Wednesday afternoon. Two Vallejo fire engines joined the response to the Amaral Fire, according to the Vallejo Fire Department.
