(FOX40.COM) — After responding to three vehicle collisions involving bicycles on Wednesday, the Rocklin Police Department is asking all roadway users to exercise more caution.

The police department noted that among the three collisions, two involved e-bikes and two of the three riders were riding on the wrong side of the road and against traffic.

In one of the collisions, police noted that a rider did receive “noticeable injuries” that could have been worse if they had not been wearing a helmet.

“This is an important reminder for all people sharing the roadways to drive with caution, to drive defensively, and to wear safety gear if you are on bicycles, e-bicycles, scooters, skateboards, one-wheels, etc,” the police department wrote.
