Pizza company debuts first vending machine in California

(FOX40.COM) — Residents of a Sacramento County city can now order pizza through a vending machine.

Toronto-based company PizzaForno has recently opened its first vending machine in California in Rancho Cordova. The vending machine allows customers to order pizza any time of the day, as it’s open 24 hours seven days a week.

Customers can walk up to the vending machine and order pizzas that would be ready to go in minutes or select a take-n-bake option.

The vending machine is located at the Nimbus Winery Mall on 12401 Folsom Boulevard.

PizzaForno offers six different types of pizzas including pepperoni, BBQ chicken, four cheese blend, meat lovers, vegetarian, and breakfast, according to the company’s website.

The company first gained popularity in Ontario, Canada, and later expanded to various locations with vending machines at hospitals, college campuses, and gas stations by 2020.

PizzaForno officially came to the United States in 2021 with its first American location in Jackson, Michigan. The company expanded to more American and Canadian cities following the success of the Michigan location.
