    Man goes missing from care home in North Auburn

    (FOX40.COM) — A Placer County man is missing after leaving his care home in North Auburn, according to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.

    Fredrick Jordan, 49, was last seen at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday off Lilac Lane in North Auburn.

    Jordan stands at 6 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs 195 pounds, has a tattoo on his left leg, and has brown eyes and short brown hair.

    He was last seen wearing a red San Francisco 49ers shirt, red San Francisco 49ers shorts, and a red San Francisco 49ers hat.

    Around 5:30 p.m. on Friday, the Placer County Sheriff’s Office said after receiving “additional information” that Frederick Jordan’s status has been changed to “voluntarily missing” and is not considered at risk.

    Deputies added that based on that additional information, they determined Jordan was last spotted in the Sacramento area around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.

    The public is asked to call the Placer County Sheriff’s Office at (530) 886-5375 if they spot Jordan.
