“Our Major Collision Investigation Unit responded and immediately began investigating what happened,” Sacramento police said. “Investigators not only identified the vehicle that was involved, through their tenacious work, they were also able to identify the driver.”

Police said the man was charged with a felony hit-and-run resulting in death and other related charges. “This is yet another example of the dedication of the men and women of the Sacramento Police Department to provide justice to victim’s families.”
