(FOX40.COM) — A new coffee shop is opening in downtown Sacramento in a space that was once occupied by Starbucks.

Con Azucar Café is set to take over the former site of Starbucks on 7th and K streets near the Downtown Commons. The coffee shop is occupying the downtown space after Starbucks permanently closed in May.

Ethan Conrad Properties announced its lease agreement with the coffee shop, which is described as a celebration of Mexico’s “rich and diverse flavors.” The property management company said café plans to welcome customers in three months.

“We are excited to support the vision of Con Azucar Café,” Ethan Conrad Properties CEO Ethan Conrad said in a press release. “This café will bring a fresh and vibrant addition to our K Street building, enhancing Downtown Sacramento’s food and beverage scene with something truly distinctive for our community.”

Con Azucar Cafe’s menu includes traditional coffee favorites such as americano, cappuccino, latte and regular brewed coffee. The cafe’s menu also includes avocado toast, blt sandwich and three grilled cheese.

It will be Con Azucar Cafe’s first Sacramento coffee shop and also plans to open locations in Modesto, Gilroy, and Redwood City, according to its website.

Con Azucar Café has three locations in San Jose, Bakersfield and Omaha, Nebraska.
