    Auburn police warn of mountain lion activity

    (FOX40.COM) — A mountain lion was spotted in an Auburn neighborhood on Thursday morning which police say is still in the area.

    According to the Auburn Police Department, a mountain lion was spotted at a home in the area of Auburn Folsom Road and Eagles Nest.

    Mountain lion sighting confirmed by Vacaville police

    Residents are advised to stay aware of their surroundings and bring in any pets.

    The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has been notified about the mountain lion, according police.
