Police investigate fatal Sacramento shooting, suspect remains at large

(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that happened early Saturday morning.

Around 2:30 a.m. SPD said it responded to reports of a shooting in the 4000 block of 4th Avenue. There, officers found two men with gunshot wounds. Both of the men were taken to a local hospital where one of them died from his injuries. Police said the other man is expected to survive.

No arrests have been made and SPD has no suspect. Anyone with information is advised by law enforcement to call the Sacramento Police Department at 916-808-5471.
