    Stockton teens assault and rob 73-year-old woman, police say

    (FOX40.COM) — One of two teens accused of assaulting and robbing an elderly woman was arrested on Friday, according to the Stockton Police Department.

    Around 7 p.m. on Aug. 31, SPD said a 73-year-old woman was in the process of withdrawing funds from a stand-alone ATM in the 8000 block of West Lane when two teenagers approached her. The victim was knocked to the ground and her money was snatched from her hand, according to SPD.

    The teens reportedly fled the scene, however, SPD said Crime Stoppers’ tips, and detectives helped identify the teens. One 14-year-old suspect was arrested and a 15-year-old suspect is wanted.
