Man arrested after overnight standoff Sacramento County

(FOX40.COM) — A man was arrested Monday morning after an overnight standoff in North Highlands, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said.

According to the sheriff, the suspect, a 32-year-old man, was involved in a shooting in Rancho Cordova Sunday night.

The sheriff’s office said the standoff, which happened at an apartment on Galbrath Drive, ended around 6:30 a.m. when the suspect was taken into custody “without further incident.”
