60-year-old pedestrian dies after fatal hit-and-run crash in Stockton

(FOX40.COM) — A 60-year-old man died Tuesday after he was hit by a car while walking, according to the Stockton Police Department.

Around 6:45 p.m., SPD said it responded to the area of March Lane and Venetian Drive for a report of a hit-and-run crash between a pedestrian and a vehicle. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found an unresponsive man. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the incident remains an ongoing investigation.
