(FOX40.COM) — An arrest has been made in connection to a threat made at a Roseville area school on Monday, according to the Roseville Police Department.

The arrest stems from reports of a student at Silverado Middle School making threats involving a weapon.

Mysterious booms in Roseville found to be agricultural tools

Administrators located the student and determined that there was no weapon on campus. A further search of the campus by police also came back all clear.

Investigators arrested a second teen who was found to have created social media accounts in order to make false threatening posts.

“We are incredibly thankful to the students who were made aware of the threat and reported it immediately to a trusted school official,” the school district wrote in a news release. “Students who engage in such behavior will face disciplinary action.”

The teen has been booked into Placer County Juvenile Hall where he is facing charges of making terrorist threats.

It's very difficult for parents to call 911 and "Red Flag" their children. (Police and DA will punish the parents for doing so). Mental Health Courts and 5150 Code is Police Code. 5150 Code is almost impossible to get into. Attorneys will tell you the courts just want to prosecute, charge felonies and send these mentally ill people to jail or prison and kick the can down the road until people are killed. 5150 Code, in California, it’s usually police who confine mentally ill people for involuntary 72-hour holds so they can be evaluated and treated. A pending bill would extend the so-called 5150 confinement authority to county-designated psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, licensed marriage and family therapists, and clinical counselors and non-clinical approach is a very dangerous approach, in my opinion.

At least the school and Roseville PD doesn’t wait until someone dies like everywhere else. School police presence really works well and stops more than we realize. This should happen in all schools. Every time you have no police presence or police stand down in schools, you have a Colmbine, Sandy Hook, Parkland, or Uvalde. This stuff happened when my sons were in middle school, Silverado and Woodcreek High School, 15 years ago. Woodcreek had out siders trying to do bad stuff in the parking lot. It is no coincidence that these red flags were ignored, and people died.
