Motorcyclist dies after crash with vehicle in Citrus Heights

(FOX40.COM) — A motorcyclist died after a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle on Wednesday afternoon in Citrus Heights, according to Sacramento Metro Fire.

The agency said it got the call about the crash near Antelope Road and Mariposa Avenue before 3 p.m. The area is between I-80 and Auburn Blvd.

Metro Fire said the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the site.

According to Citrus Heights Police, a stretch of eastbound Antelope Road will be closed for some time.
